St. Martin of Tours Endowment: sharing gifts, sharing blessings Through the Catholic Foundation of Maine, the St. Martin of Tours Endowment offers a way to make a lasting legacy to St. Martin of Tours. This important endowment will support the many Christian ministries and programs, capital improvements, non-recurring expenses, and other important needs of the Millinocket faith community. |

It is the purpose of the Endowment to provide the means to effect—dramatically—the long-term works of the Church by ensuring the financial viability of St. Martin of Tours, a worship community within Christ the Divine Mercy Parish. BENEFITS > Provides ongoing financial stability, ensuring the continuation of our mission to bring the Good News to all > Perpetuates donors' giving by supporting the work of the community generation after generation > Offers donors a strategic giving vehicle that will support the St. Martin of Tours worship site > Reduces impact of inflation, allowing a greater impact on St. Martin of Tours services > Provides a safety net from fluctuations in annual contributions > Gives additional tax benefits to donors HOW IT WORKS Your gift to the local Endowment Fund, whether made during your lifetime or through a bequest or other planned gift, will be pooled with all monies sent to the Fund and invested according to the Catholic Foundation of Maine’s prudent investment policy. The money invested will be designated for the sole benefit of St. Martin of Tours. The advantage of pooling monies is that larger investments potentially reap larger dividends. Each year a distribution will be available from the Fund to support general operations, programs or any other identified need of St. Martin of Tours.

St. Martin of Tours (of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish) Endowment is a fund of the Catholic Foundation of Maine, a 501(c)(3) public charity, which assists parishes, schools and other Catholic organizations as well as individuals in establishing endowed funds. The Catholic Foundation of Maine was established in 2003 to help Catholics practice wise stewardship and thoughtful sharing of their financial resources.
