The Doctors of the Church The title Doctor of the Church is an honor that recognizes the outstanding contribution a person has made to our understanding of Christian doctrine. The Doctors are holy, have been given deep insight into the faith, and have written extensively. We can learn much from these humble souls who have such insight into becoming holy, becoming one with God. |

Disciples in Mission is a proven and effective ministry that fosters parish-based evangelization. Parishioners who participate experience spiritual renewal and a greater commitment to share the Gospel. Learn more. The Portland, Maine Diocese helps us understand the call to evangelize. | ||||||||||||

In the following table, the names of the sacraments link to their descriptions in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The articles, videos, and Q&A are from www.americancatholic.org. Enjoy!
