Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Catholic Thoughts for Catholic Tots
(God’s Children that is)

God the Father speaks to His Children. Go, baptize and make disciples of all nations. This is not an imperialistic statement, but an evangelistic statement to change the hearts of all to be full of the Holy Spirit of God as revealed to us through the Beloved Son, Jesus the Christ. The Incarnation is God dwelling in our midst which is guaranteed today through the administration of the Church, the Body of Christ. The purpose of the Church is to assure who are the citizens of heaven. We must realize that we Catholics have a dual citizenship. We are citizens of the world in the geographical area to which we are responsible to show our love of neighbor. We are citizens of heaven in the geographical area to which we are responsible to show our love of God. Thus the saying of Jesus: “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s”.

Formerly three parishes, now two parishes in one community in Jesus, Our Lord

Christ the Divine Mercy Parish was formed in 2007 from St. Martin of Tours and St. Peter's parishes.  The parish still uses both worship sites, and respects the special character of each community.  With St. Benedict Parish, the two parishes are now one "cluster," sharing the same Pastor and many of the same resources.
