Eucharistic Celebration Ministries

The celebration of the Mass is central to our Catholic belief. The ministers at each Mass help the congregation to have a more prayerful, holy experience. If the Lord is attracting you to a particular ministry, we rejoice with you and ask that you follow His call by talking with the Pastor.

Lector Ministry

lector iconLector ministers proclaim the Scriptures during the Liturgy of the Word, the first half of the Mass.

Christ speaks to us through the Scriptures at Mass, and his Holy Spirit touches our hearts through the voice of the lector.

Eucharistic ministers give the Body and Blood of our Lord to the congregation during Mass and at Word and Communion services.

They also bring the Lord, in the form of the Eucharist, to the sick and home-bound.

Altar Server Ministry

They also assist in ceremonies, processions, and devotions such as the Stations of the Cross.

Music Ministry

musical notesThe musicians and choir minister to the congregation by drawing them to prayer, to contact with God, through music.

Whether the music is joyous, prayerful, or solemn, it creates an atmosphere of prayer during services.

Usher Ministry

Greeter Ministry

Greeters welcome the congregation to services and hand out any materials needed for the service.

Their presence reminds us that we are united in our prayer, not solitary worshippers.
